Andrew joined the VPSA in April 2018. He is the lead staff for the VPSA and responsible for the operational leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board. Andrew is particularly interested in approaches to build engagement and wellbeing among physicians. Prior to joining the VPSA, Andrew spent several years working in the not-for-profit sector with AutismBC and DEVO Youth Cycling. He was a professional road cyclist from 1999 to 2011 and during that time was a member of the Canadian national team.
Andrew holds a Masters in Health Administration from the University of British Columbia and both Masters and Bachelor of Science degrees in Geography from the University of Victoria.
Cindy Liang, Administrative Assistant
Cindy joined the VPSA team in May 2019 as administrative assistant. She handles administrative tasks and event logistics. Before joining the VPSA, she was a teacher for English as a Second Language learners. Cindy is most likely the person you see when you sign in at our events.
Jill Lunde, Communications Lead
Jill is a senior communications professional with extensive experience working with public sector, non-profit, and private organizations. She specializes in writing and editing and honed her skills at CBC Vancouver. She was the manager of marketing and communications at Science World for 10 years and has been running her own consulting business for over 20. She has been the VPSA Communications Lead since April 2018.
